These are the behind the scenes pictures and captions for the tourism ad project
The Interview Scene:
In this first take we wanted our friend (Sagara) to be the audio guy holding the mic for the interview but in later takes we decided that he would be better as the interviewer due to hid deep voice which sounded good for the interview rather then our voices
In this picture we can see everyone in their roles.

In these scenes I was in charge of being the director and directing and leading everyone to create the best shot. I was as well integral to providing food and drinks to keep everyone at their best.
The problem with this scene was the lack of good lighting this caused the image to be grainy and pixelated so to solve it we decided to reshoot on a later date with better lighting which consisted of a flashlight with a defuser similar to a light bar.
For audio, we attached a mic onto a pipe about 2 meters long; this was too solve the problem that the mic would be in frame. As well it provided good quality sound and acted as a prop in the second scene where everyone was fleeing the scene showing adding to the fear factor.
The Beach Scene:
This was a reshoot as the first time we shot the sky was cloudy and the sunset became obstructed. The sunset in Mertasari beach was as well subpar so we decided to reshoot in Legian beach which resulted in a better timelapse.
Here is the time where we shot our second scene. Our idea was to capture a timelapse of the sun setting so we did this by planting a phone firmly in the tripod then reinforcing the legs by partially burying it in sand. This created a stable shot for us.
At multiple times of the shoot we accidentally walked into frame though in the final video we were merely frames so the consequence is negligible.

The Temple B-Roll:
In this shot we wanted to make b roll of the temple by panning from one end to the other. As you can see from this first shot Panji used a phone which caused the glare or stretching of light which we decided was undesirable.
So the next time we reshot we decided to use a real camera which helped minimize the glare.

Reflection:
At the end of the way it was very fun to shoot especially with my friends we made a lot of memories and in my role of directed I learnt a good deal about delegation and understanding the people you direct. As well I found trouble shooting and solving problems quite fun as it provided a brain tester although I have to be honest it was quite stressful at time.
My favorite scene was the beach as we whiles we were waiting for the timelapse we had ample time to run around and swim. However in terms of production it was the interview scene as there was a lot of things that had to be in order ,all the pieces and add up to create the final shot, there were as well a good number of problems that were fun to shoot.
